Video Analytics Startup VideoVibe Gets Accepted To FbStart Programme
Video analytics startup VideoVibe has been selected for Facebook’s developer-focused program FbStart which caters to the early-stage, mobile-focused startups.
Under the accelerator programme, the startup will receive $40,000 worth of credits and mentorship from Menlo Park-headquartered Facebook’s engineering team
Founded in 2016 by R Ranjan Sahoo and Elisha Priyadarshini, VideoVibe deals in Youtube analytics and video optimisation services & tools.
The solutions provide advanced audience targeting and insights, simplified media execution and campaign management, and complete cross-platform reporting. It compiles data from YouTube and uses the data to make statistical graphs and charts that track progress and growth. This includes information such as estimated earnings and future projections, providing both numerical data and easy-to-read graphs. Statistics are available for free, both on the web and the app.
As claimed by the founders, VideoVibe currently tracks over 10k YouTube channels. and has over 30K users, 50K Website views, and 15K happy customers. In the next 6 months, the team plans to go social and aim to engage more users. Also, the focus will be on to take the revenue in eight digits.
Facebook launched FbStart in 2014 with an aim to help early-stage mobile startups build and grow their apps. It provides an exclusive community, worldwide events, and mentorship from Facebook to the startups along with $80K in free tools and services.
FbStart includes three tracks, viz., Pre-launch (up to $15K benefits), Bootstrap (up to $30K benefits), and Accelerate (up to $80K benefits). The programme provides free access to more than 25 services including open source tools like React Native, FB Login and Account Kit and App Analytics.
India is the largest market for FbStart outside the US. According to the product partnerships team at Facebook, over 75% of top-grossing apps in India get integrated with Facebook.
